Cheerful composure, wisdom, charisma and self-love – all are part of aging beauty. When wrinkles, hair loss and scars over time make self-acceptance difficult, aesthetic plastic surgery can help develop a positive attitude toward aging and balance outward beauty with inner growth.

The aging process presents us with some changes and mental challenges: The process of aging gives us the opportunity to develop a positive view of the aging process, to accept it as a natural part of life and to treat ourselves with dignity and self-acceptance. At our clinic we speak about better aging rather than anti aging.

How to redefine beauty in old age

Learning to focus on the positive aspects of growing older, rather than being focused exclusively on the negative or age-related changes, has been proven to make you happier as you age. The added wisdom, life experience and deeper self-knowledge can contribute. In this individual process, you adopt healthy attitudes by viewing physical and health limitations not as deficits and shortcomings, but as part of your life’s journey. You learn to embrace aging as a time of change and fulfilment and to appreciate life at every stage.

Nontheless, it may be that you would like support to enhance your appearance and body and thus your well-being. Below, I explain the active steps you can take to make your inner beauty visible to the outside world as you age, with the help of aesthetic plastic surgery. Why? Because I am a patient too.

What is all part of aesthetic plastic surgery?

Aesthetic surgery encompasses a wide range of different procedures, some of them surgical, all aimed at improving or enhancing the appearance of the body. Generally, these procedures are not medically necessary, but contribute to improved self-acceptance and greater personal well-being. A qualified aesthetic surgeon will provide you with thorough consultation beforehand and help to set realistic expectations.

Aesthetic plastic surgery includes:

  • breast surgery
The breast can be enlarged with implants and fat transfer. It is also possible to tighten, reduce and reconstruct the breast.
  • facial surgery
By lifting, we can visually improve the face, forehead and eyelids, nose, chin and cheeks, ears and neck. For this purpose, we use facelifts, necklifts, forehead lifts, eyelid lifts, ear and nose surgical corrections.
  • body contouring
Liposuction and tummy tucks help remove excess fat and skin to achieve a tighter body shape and a real bodycontouring Other options include body lift, arm lift or thigh lift. Autologous fat can also be used to more clearly define the buttocks.
  • skin tightening and scar corrections
We treat sagging skin, wrinkles and stretch marks with procedures such as Renuvion plasma tightening, dermal fillers, liquid facelift, skin biostimulation with innovative new products and laser technology. We can improve the appearance of scars through scar correction procedures.
  • genital surgery
Through labiaplasty and phalloplasty, aesthetic plastic surgery can also help improve aesthetics and well-being in the genital area and improve quality of life.

How do aesthetic surgeons help to achieve beauty in old age?

We, cosmetic surgeons are surgery specialists, who use surgical techniques and other procedures to address physical aesthetics. We consult patients to understand their desires, goals and expectations. In addition, surgeons also assess the patient’s condition, discuss possible treatment options, and provide information about risks, benefits, and potential outcomes.

Surgical procedures are one possible road in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery. However, many problems can already be solved by non-surgical procedures, such as Botox and dermal filler injections, skin biostimulation with Radiesse, Sculptra, Karisma and nanofat, chemical peels, laser resurfacing and non-surgical body contouring methods.

Patient care is very important to us: as holistic practitioners, we provide both proper preparation and appropriate aftercare in aesthetic plastic surgery. This includes decision-making, detailed discussion of the surgical procedure and management of possible complications in the healing process. We offer a boutique experience, where you are indulged, valued, given time and concern.

What topics can be adressed with aesthetic surgery?

Aesthetic surgery can help with a wide range of aesthetic topics and wishes. For example, aesthetic plastic surgery can address the following problem areas:

  • Breast enhancement, whether for breast augmentation, breast lift or breast reduction, can help with disproportionate or asymmetrical breasts.
  • Facial enhancements such as facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid lifts and dermalfillers improve the appearance of wrinkles, sagging skin or disproportionate facial features.
  • Skin issues can often be completely eliminated with chemical peels, dermabrasion and laser treatments. Acne scars, sun damage, pigmentation disorders or uneven skin texture can also be minimized using aesthetic plastic surgery.

Applied techniques of aesthetic plastic surgery

Depending on the specific procedure and the needs of the patient, other techniques and procedures are used in aesthetic plastic surgery: For example, in incision techniques, surgeons make different types of incisions to gain access to the areas of treatment. These may include incisions along natural skin folds, in hidden areas or in the hairline to minimize the visibility of scars.

In tissue removal procedures, surgeons remove excess tissue, such as fat or skin, to achieve the desired shape or contour. This procedure is used in abdominoplasty and liposuction, for example. Tissue redistribution involves redistributing existing tissue to achieve an improved shape or different proportions. For example, during breast augmentation, some breast tissue can be removed and placed in another area of the breast.

In tissue augmentation, on the other hand, the surgeon uses tissue or implants to create volume or structure. This is the case, for example, in breast augmentation with implants or in facial rejuvenation procedures with fillers or implants.

In skin tightening procedures, the surgeon removes sagging skin to achieve a firmer contour. Liposuction, or fat removal, is often used to reduce troublesome fat deposits and improve body contour.

Therapies using light and lasers are used in aesthetic plastic surgery to treat skin problems such as pigmentation disorders, acne scars and wrinkles.

Beauty in old age – a new look

With all these different surgical and also non-surgical techniques, we in aesthetic plastic surgery can renew and improve the skin and the overall appearance of the face and body and reduce signs of aging such as wrinkles, sagging skin or loss of volume.

I want to encourage and help you experience aging gracefully: beauty in old age is subjective and goes far beyond outward appearance. I can help you to express your beauty at any age, taking into account your individual need to look good no matter in which age you are.
