Microneedling with dermabrasion is a skin rejuvenation technique that can remove dead cells and other impurities from the skin through the process of microneedling. It does not use chemicals and it is non-invasive, but it does result in a brighter, clearer complexion. Dermabrasion is a very effective and long proven skin rejuvenation and peeling procedure.

There are two stages of microdermabrasion. In the first stage, small very fine needles exfoliate the surface of your skin revealing a clearer, softer complexion. Then, a special skin care product is applied during the treatment, which further enhances the dermabrasion results you see.
Microdermabrasion improves circulation in the treatment area, which not only increases blood flow, but also increases lymphatic drainage. This supports cell function in many ways.First, the increased blood flow will bring more oxygen and nutrients to the cells, which means the cells’ metabolism will speed up and give them more energy. This supports other cell functions to become more efficient as well, for example, the production of collagen and elastin. This makes cells healthier and thus the skin becomes healthier and more resistant.
Each person with acne suffers in a slightly different way. Some people are more prone to blackheads, while others tend to get inflammation with red pimples, and others get cystic acne. Microdermabrasion can help with a variety of types of acne, as it has a number of different benefits.
In an initial, no-obligation consultation, I can explain to you the treatment in detail and answer all your questions.
Microdermabrasion is particularly effective in removing blackheads. Exfoliation removes the top of the blackhead, while suction extracts the hardened oily contents of the pores. Subsequent occasional use of microdermabrasion can also aid in the re-emergence of blackheads.
By clearing out the pores, as mentioned earlier, microdermabrasion can reduce the size of the pores. This is because the pores are no longer clogged and are therefore kept open, resulting in the pores being reduced in size.
Occasionally after a Microneedling Dermabrasion treatment, acne may temporarily get worse. This is because the cells are clearing out the waste products. Usually this will subside within a week, after which you should see a visible improvement in your complexion.
Microneedling dermabrasion can increase the rate at which collagen and elastin are produced. These are proteins that make the skin soft and supple and contribute to the healing process. This process is also triggered during RF Microneedling.
“Microneedling dermabrasion has been a popular and effective treatment for blemished skin for years and always achieves amazing results.”
Microdermabrasion should not be used on areas of active acne such as white pustules, as these areas of the skin are much more sensitive. The process of microdermabrasion can cause the pustules to burst and infect the needles, spreading the infection across your face. This can therefore make your acne much worse. Instead, you should wait until the pus has cleared up.
