Many people are considering aesthetic surgery at the beginning of the new year to improve their body, face or skin. If you are interested in a cosmetic surgery, it is important to have realistic goals, what can and can not be achieved. And for me it is always important that an aesthetic surgery can complement a healthy lifestyle. It can not and should not be a means to drastically change your appearance. However, you can expect to get a fresher and younger version of yourself. I would like to introduce you briefly here to the methods that are suited the best.
It seems a bit premature to talk about the summer body in early January. But since many of us make fitness-oriented resolutions, the best time is probably now. Everything we do or do not do in the next two or three months determines what we look like in the summer.
In other words: Summer bodies are made in Winter!
Therefore, there are some aesthetic procedures that will help you to shape your body the way you always wanted.
Water Assisted Liposuction (WAL) is a new liposuction procedure that removes stubborn fat particles in the body. During WAL liposuction, these areas of fat can be removed and the body areas contoured to make everything look natural without seriously injuring the body. The removed fat can then be transferred to other areas of the body, e.g. on the chest, buttocks and face. Thus, I can perform in a surgery at the same time a breast augmentation, a Brazilian butt lift or a face-contouring.
Sometimes it is not excess fat but excess skin that bothers us. The basic problem is that diet and exercise do not really do much against excess skin. So, if the extra skin is at the abdomen, you need a tummy tuck to look fit and slim again. A tummy tuck makes the skin look smooth and athletic.
Many of my patients have already met their weight goals. However, if you lose a significant amount of weight or as you age, you may have as much excess skin. An arm or thigh lift can help patients feel much better in their own body.
Body contouring treatments are often used to accompany diet and exercise. But there are some changes to your body that are simply not achievable without aesthetic surgery. These procedures give you the opportunity to shape your face and chest to the desired shape.
If a larger or smaller bust is part of your New Year’s resolution, breast augmentation (sometimes combined with a breast lift) or breast reduction is the first choice for you. Many women opt for breast surgery because it can give the body pleasing, elegant proportions, while others simply want to change the size of the breast.
Droopy eyelids are a major reason why some people consider eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) to remove and tighten excess eyelid skin. This immediately gives you a more youthful appearance. Sometimes, blepharoplasty can also improve your eyesight by expanding your field of vision as soon as your eyelids are lifted.
A non-surgical facelift or liquid facelift may include a number of different treatments and procedures aimed at the effects of skin aging and sagging skin. With the combination of injections, threads, Microneedling with radio frequency radiation and laser treatments, today I can restructure the face and remove the signs of age without putting you under the knife.
Sometimes achieving your goals requires more than a strict diet and exercise. The human body has some natural (albeit frustrating boundaries). However, that does not mean that you do not have the ability to shape your face or body with aesthetic procedures. If breast augmentation or tummy tucking has been on your agenda for a while, now is the time to take advantage of your New Year’s resolutions. Because remember: Summer bodies are made in Winter!
