"Many of us have a desire for lip augmentation but are afraid of an unnatural result. I respect the individual anatomy of your lips and achieve excellent results."
Full lips are the epitome of sensuality. Let me give them volume and contours through a lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid.
Granted, lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid has a somewhat bad reputation. However, this is usually limited to a handful of accidents during operations that we know from celebrities. Each of us has had a magazine in our hands and said: “I don’t want to look like this”. But I don’t just want to perform a lip injection, I want to achieve fuller lips in line with your contours.
That’s why I focus on a natural effect and can achieve a really nice result. The individual facial contours of each patient play the most important role in this treatment. In order to achieve your aesthetic goals, care, targeted advice and caution are extremely important.
With hyaluronic acid I can fill lips that are too thin, reduce wrinkles around the mouth and improve the lip contour. This creates a better harmony between the lips and the other facial features.
In my clinic, the key to beautiful lip augmentation is to maintain proper contour and balance between the upper and lower lips. A long informative discussion is particularly important to me, in which you and I analyze your wishes and the naturally given anatomy together. The end result of this process is an optimal, aesthetic result that fits your face. My patients often express the desire for Botox treatment or want to model face contours.
Are fillers safe for the lips?
The short answer is: Yes. Today’s special lip fillers consist of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that occurs naturally in the body. Since HA is produced by our body itself – albeit in smaller quantities, especially as we grow older – it is very well accepted by the body. And it is not only used in the lips; it can smooth wrinkles, restore the volume of the cheeks and eliminate the vertical lines on the side of the mouth. Hyaluronic acid has the unique property of keeping 1000 times its own weight in water and is therefore something like a miracle weapon of aesthetic treatments.
Are silicone injections safe for the lips?
No. Silicone injections are an unsafe and unacceptable option for lip augmentation. These injections are not FDA approved and are often offered by unlicensed individuals and should not be used under any circumstances.
What exactly can I correct with Filler on the lips?
Filler can have the following effect on the lips:
- Restore volume on small lips
- Define the limits and shape of the lips (fuller lips)
- Remold the “lipstick” lines
- Correct the downward facing corners of the mouth
Modern fillers enhance the natural lip shape and give the face a fuller, rounded appearance. Volume improvement for thin lips can balance the face and create a softer, more feminine appearance for women. To improve lipstick lines or lip lines that form at the edge of the lip, I use special fillers. I fill out the tongues of the lips one by one and give back their definition and shape to narrow lips.
Does a large swelling occur after a lip augmentation?
Swelling of the lips is common after a lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid; therefore your lips will appear larger than the final result for at least three days. After lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid, bruises can occur, which usually dissolve within a week. Your lips typically feel hard in the first days after the injection, but feel normal and normal after the initial swelling and bleeding.
I use cold compresses after treatment and recommend you apply them at home to reduce swelling, bruising and pain. I also recommend a liquid diet for one or two days after treatment.
How long do the results of lip augmentation last?
The effect of most fillers used today lasts about six months. Lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid is all the more effective the more regularly it is performed. Fuller lips last longer if the lips are sprayed on more frequently.
What are the risks associated with lip augmentation?
Significant lip enlargement complications are rare. Lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid is performed without major problems.
