RF Microneedling: The latest therapy for skin rejuvenation

RF Microneedling (RF stands for Radiofrequency) is a popular method that can safely and effectively address a variety of skin problems. It combines the innovative procedure Microneedling with radiofrequency and takes skin rejuvenation to the next level.

During the treatment, the radiofrequency beam is applied to the dermis via small needles on the skin and stimulates collagen production. Three weeks post-interventionally the epidermis improves impressively and you enjoy a fresher skin quality.

What's so special about radio frequency microneedling?

For traditional microneedling I use a special device that causes micro injuries in the skin and stimulates the body’s own healing. Collagen and elastin production is initiated, effectively tightening the skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines and acne scars.

When I perform a treatment with RF microneedling, the element of radio frequency energy is added to traditional microneedling. The HF energy is emitted via small needles. In addition to the benefits associated with needle microinjury, radiofrequency micronedling also delivers RF energy deep into the dermis, further improving skin tightening and scar reduction. The RF energy heats the underlying layers and causes constriction and tightening of the skin as well as stimulation of collagen and elastin production. Because RF energy is emitted so deeply, it can deliver faster and more effective results.

"Radiofrequency Microneedling is a new procedure that is currently only offered by a few doctors. I offer you the chance to get to know this new treatment method and to feel the convincing effect."

What is the advantage compared to laser therapy?

Radiofrequency works more on the lower skin layers and promotes collagen production, with little or no effect on the epidermis. For this reason I achieve deeper results without damaging the superficial skin layer.

RF Microneedling can offer similar results to ablative laser procedures, but with significantly less discomfort and downtime.

How should I imagine such a treatment?

Prior to the treatment, I apply a local anesthetic to the skin to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. The treatment usually lasts 1 hour and is somewhat dependent on the size of the treatment area.

The skin is red for the first or second day after treatment, but the redness is typically much less than with laser treatments. There are few or no complaints after the procedure and you will usually be able to return to normal activities within a day. Make-up can be applied a few hours after the procedure to cover redness.

Am I the right fit for this?

RF Microneedling is suitable for almost any skin type and tone. The procedure treats fine lines and facial wrinkles, scarring of acne and chickenpox, mild to moderate skin sagging and irregular skin texture. Many of my patients supplement this skin rejuvenation with a thread lift and Botox treatment

How many treatments are necessary?

After a treatment a result is already noticeable and noticeable, in most patients I work with 2 or 3 sessions at intervals of about 4 weeks to achieve the full effect. The number of treatments you need depends greatly on how well you respond to the treatment and how much you need to treat the skin problems.
