"Microneedling-Dermabrasion has been a popular and effective treatment for blemished skin since the 1990s and consistently produces amazing results."
Microdermabrasion peeling for the elimination of acne: Effective, safe and extremely effective.
Microdermabrasion is a skin rejuvenation technique that can remove dead cells and other impurities from the skin through the microneedling process. It does not use chemicals and is non-invasive, but results in a lighter, clearer complexion. Dermabrasion is a very effective and long tested procedure for skin rejuvenation and peeling.
How does Micro-Dermabrasion work?
There are two stages of microdermabrasion. First, small very fine needles are peeling the surface of your skin and show a clearer, softer complexion. Second, a special skin care product is applied during the treatment, which further improves the dermabrasion results you see.
For what type of acne is the treatment suitable?
Every person with acne suffers in a slightly different way. Some people are more prone to blackheads, while others tend to get inflammation with red spots and others get cystic acne. Microdermabrasion can help a variety of types of acne as it has a number of different benefits.
What are the specific benefits of microdermabrasion for acne, acne prone skin or skin impurities?
- Improvement of circulation and cell function
Microdermabrasion can improve blood flow in the treatment area, which not only increases blood flow but also lymphatic drainage. This supports cell function in many ways.First, the increased blood flow will bring more oxygen and nutrients to the cells, which means that the metabolism of the cells becomes faster and gives them more energy. This encourages other cell functions to become more efficient, for example the production of collagen and elastin. This makes cells healthier and makes the skin healthier and more resistant. The increase in lymphatic drainage results in the waste products being removed from the cells more quickly, resulting in less dirt that can lead to spots and blackheads.
- Fight against blackheads
Microdermabrasion is particularly effective in the removal of blackheads. The peeling removes the top of the blackhead, while the suction removes the hardened oily content of the pores. Later occasional use of microdermabrasion may also support the emergence of blackheads.
- Pore size reduction By clearing the pores, as already mentioned, the pore size can be reduced by microdermabrasion. This is because the pores are no longer clogged and are thus kept open, which leads to the pores being reduced in size.
- Improvement of circulation and cell function
Is the treatment stressful for my skin?
Except for a certain tightness or redness of the skin that persists only a short time after treatment, there are no side effects and the recovery time is minimal.
Your skin becomes more sensitive to the sun immediately after a microneedling dermabrasion treatment and you will need to use sunscreen (+50SPF) for a few days after the treatment.
I also have acne on my back, can I benefit from the treatment?
As many acne patients know, stains do not always appear only on your face, but also your chest, back and neck frequently. I successfully apply microdermabrasion in each of these areas.
"I was impressed by your advice, your seriousness and your response to individual needs. I feel like I'm in excellent hands with you. I look forward to your next visit and will be happy to recommend you to others."
Does Microdermabrasion bring acne to the surface?
Occasionally after microdermabrasion treatment, acne may temporarily worsen. This is because the cells clear out the waste products. Usually this will wear off within a week after which you should see a visible improvement in your complexion.
Does Micro-Dermabrasion also work for acne scars?
Microdermabrasion can increase the rate at which collagen and elastin are produced. These are proteins that make the skin soft and supple and contribute to the healing process. This process is also triggered with RF Microneedling.
Does microdermabrasion work for active acne?
Microdermabrasion should not be applied to areas of active acne such as white pustules, as these areas of skin are much more sensitive. The process of microdermabrasion can cause the pustules to burst, infect the needles and spread the infection across your face. This can make your acne much worse. Instead you should wait until the pus has subsided.
