\nHow does facial contouring with filler work?<\/h2>\n
\nFacial contouring with fillers, which consists of injections with blunt cannulas and not sharp needles, is completed in just 30-45 minutes. To minimize your discomfort, I use dermal fillers including lidocaine. In more sensitive areas, I often use a numbing cream. Once injected into the skin, the filler immediately plumps up the skin and smooths out facial wrinkles for a fuller, younger appearance while preserving the natural features that make you you.<\/p>\n
Injected into the skin at just the right angle, dermal fillers act like a three-dimensional grid that lifts the cheeks and jowls, giving them a natural-looking, fuller and more youthful appearance. \nIn general, almost all of us are suitable for facial contouring with fillers. Important to mention is that loss of volume happens already in the early years of aging. This is why young patients with early signs of facial aging, such as a flattening of the cheek area and jowls, come daily to our practice.<\/p>\n
It is also suitable for people who want to tighten certain areas of the face, but are not ready to undergo a surgical procedure such as a facelift<\/a>. \nDermal filler treatments are not connected to a downtime nowadays. At the end of the treatment, you may experience mild swelling, which may last 2-3 days.
