It’s natural baby
Patients who regularly enhance their face with Botox or fillers want results that last as long as possible. The main concern for most people undergoing aesthetic treatments is to look natural. The most popular procedures are therefore those that create subtle yet effective changes to the face. For this reason, it makes sense to carry out several smaller procedures at regular intervals. Together with my patients, I create a treatment plan for six months or even a full year. This has two major advantages: first, treatments are performed continuously rather than as one-off procedures, which allows changes to occur more gradually and naturally. Second, consistent treatments – as with almost everything in life – have a longer-lasting effect and deliver better results. Just think of your fitness routine.
It’s all about the combination
All plastic surgery procedures should be individually tailored to the specific goals of each patient. One of the most prominent trends is the “ultra-customized procedure.” This approach combines several smaller procedures into one single operation, resulting in a comprehensive rejuvenation in one step.
Most patients wish to undergo only a single procedure. I can relate to this, as I had the same motivation myself a few weeks ago. In my case, it was a combination of seven aesthetic procedures and treatments. The advantage is that only one anesthesia is required, and the overall recovery time is not extended.
In my practice, I often perform a combination of different procedures. For example, I like to combine breast augmentation with eyelid surgery and laser skin rejuvenation.
When I perform liposuction, my patients often add plasma-based skin tightening or a tummy tuck to the liposuction. Alternatively, they may combine a breast lift with either an augmentation or a breast reduction.
Fillers combined with eyelid tightening
The eye area plays a crucial role in our appearance and in how we are perceived by others. I have always performed eyelid surgery and brow lifts, and their popularity continues to grow. My patients increasingly recognise the benefits of combining different procedures. A treatment plan involving fillers, biostimulators and neurotoxins already produces a very good rejuvenating effect. However, I achieve an even better and longer-lasting result with surgery in the eye area.
Breast augmentation with implants
Breast augmentation with implants remains the most common and most popular procedure in my practice, as well as among most other plastic surgeons. The alternative is breast augmentation with autologous fat.
Breast augmentation with implants is a procedure that allows the result to be precisely tailored to your individual preferences. Using 3D simulation, I can plan the outcome in advance. In addition, results achieved with implants are long-lasting.With breast augmentation using autologous fat, there is a risk that not 100% of the transferred fat will survive, which may cause the breast to decrease slightly in volume over time. In very slim patients, there may also be insufficient fat available for the procedure. For this reason, this type of breast augmentation is not suitable for all patients.
Liposuction? No, liposculpture!
Those of us who have gained a few extra pounds recently are not alone. This has increased interest in liposuction and other body contouring procedures.
The days when unwanted fat deposits were simply removed are over. Modern liposuction takes body proportions into account and reshapes the body. I call this “liposculpture” because the body is actually recontoured in the process. By combining liposuction with plasma-based skin tightening, I achieve significantly better results than with liposuction alone. And I know what I’m talking about — if you missed it, I underwent liposculpture myself a few weeks ago.
