Breast nipple correction: Correct inverted nipples and relief you from pain
The desire for nipple correction is not only aesthetic. Many women have, for example, inverted nipples or very large nipples. The former cause problems with breastfeeding and the latter lead to great pain in the nipples. In both cases, nipple surgery offers a sensible solution to these unpleasant problems.

What is a nipple correction?
The nipple surgery is performed on an outpatient basis and corrects your nipple at the yard. Under local anesthesia, I push the nipple back out through a small cross-section. Instead of simply cutting away the connective tissue in the nipple, the fibers are spread or stretched. Then the breast tissue or skin flap is moved forward to fill the space. This prevents the nipple from retracting and creating slippery nipples again. The incision is then closed and tightened. Often this nipple surgery is also combined with a breast lift.
Can I breastfeed after nipple correction?
In the past, the usual surgical solution for nipple correction (drooping nipples) was to cut the milk ducts to expose the nipples to the outside. Although this approach is effective, today it is considered unnecessarily destructive and makes it impossible for a woman to breastfeed afterwards. Nowadays, I use a newer technique of nipple correction that keeps the milk ducts whole and focuses on releasing the surrounding fasciae that hold the nipples in place.
Are scars visible after nipple correction?
The scar after an inverted nipple correction is hardly visible. Even when I operate on large nipples, I make the incision so that the scar is not visible afterwards.
How permanent are the results of nipple correction?
The results of nipple correction are long-term. Weight changes, pregnancy, menopause and natural aging can change the appearance of the breasts again. Nevertheless, it is rare for patients to have a second nipple correction because most patients are very satisfied by the initial reduction.
