Treatments are usually spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart to allow optimal collagen stimulation and regeneration.

Both Juläine® and Sculptra® are based on Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA). However, there are important differences in formulation, handling, and patient comfort.

Sculptra® contains larger PLLA particles, which require intensive post-treatment massage over several days to ensure even distribution. If massage protocols are not followed correctly, there is a higher risk of uneven product distribution and inflammatory reactions.

Juläine®, on the other hand, contains very fine, homogeneously distributed PLLA particles, allowing for more even diffusion within the tissue. This significantly reduces the need for extensive post-treatment massage and improves patient convenience. Juläine® is also associated with a lower risk of inflammatory complications and allows safe treatment of sensitive areas such as the perioral region and neck, which are generally not recommended for classic PLLA products.
